This morning, as I’m working on depot, I decided to drive in to work. I get into the car and there’s rain on the windscreen for overnight so I switch on the wipers. It doesn’t seem to clear as much as it should but I continue anyway, visibility is good enough and I’m sure it’ll clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I’m about to leave the estate I realise why the screen isn’t clearing… I’m still wearing my reading glasses! I lifted those and all was clear!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I returned home for my bifocals which are minimal for distance but is this small slip up a sign of getting old?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not quite, it’s just me being the usual scatterbrain. Under normal circumstances I would have just lifted the glasses and kept going but as I was going to be out until early afternoon I decided to return.
