R.I.P. Socks

On 9th May our neighbour asked if we were missing a cat because she saw one lying dead in the lane. It was Socks, our 9 year old tabby. I’m pretty cut up about this because he was a truly friendly cat who would purr at just being stroked. You will not be forgotten :(

To replace cream we bought Caramel. He’s a lovely little thing and quite a saving on power since we put a generator on the wheel ;)

Today our “old man” hamster passed away in his sleep. He was lively up to the end, despite being 2½ years old. Longest lived hamster we’ve had so far.
